Seriously what the fuck Harriet Miers has no experience as a judge. I thought Supreme Court Justices were supposed to be judges first. But I geuss it must not be a real thing just some protocol that has been used for a long time. Tim i posted this here becuase I need someone with some more politcal/historical background to help me here. Has this ever been done before? Does she got a shart's chance on a windy day when Drew wairs black underware? Bush must be hopeing for her to get though the senate becuase she wont be able to answere any questions. No questions about her judging would be there, she is not a judge. At least DeLay is getting what he deserves.

Tim I do not know what you are baseing your second post on. Some people are for her but there are quite a few conservatives that are not with her.

This article shows a few of your people showing concern. While it is to soon to say what will happen it is still not good to make generalizations that young people (Jared) could read and take as fact.
i hate to say this, but the things i read about miers seem to be questioning and not clearly supportive. most were less than positive.
senator orrin hatch: "A lot of my fellow conservatives are concerned..."
not a couple, or a few, or some....a lot.
anyway, i think we (definitely me included) need to realize that there are always going to be conflicted opinions within each party as well as between parties.
everyone should research the Hatch quote i used...note: i didn't use the whole thing:)
